Tigers are putting a 3 year deal together for Bateman. And word is it’s going to be around 850k a year.

Dragons apparently interested in D Fifita lol. Flakey player at a flakey club, seems like a good idea.

Same, if we're going to add to our middles it need to be a dominate big man ala NAS, JWH etc. I'm still hoping it's Uele but starting to have my doubts now.
I don't think BHU has the same mindset as the two you mentioned, he is what he is.

If we're going to pay big money for an upgrade, I'd prefer to spend in on a 6 not a prop

Hopefully by the time Moylan runs out of juice one of our youngsters will be ready to go next to a much more seasoned Nicho. But our spine is regularly playing behind a beaten pack ATM as Snowy said

a top notch prop would void the need for a 6

if you get a top 6 but our pack is beaten, whats the point?
I don't agree that you need a top notch prop to ensure your pack doesn't get beaten (case in point see Saturday night).

Yeah unless your signing someone at 6/7 who has the ability to consistently kick you out of trouble with great deep kicks and some 40/20s our halves are good enough to win behind a winning pack.

Unfortunately Hunt, Cleary, DCE, Reynolds, Moses and co are all very in demand players for some reason
A long shot but Burton is the only one who could be obtainable (realistically also very long shot)

Prop is easier and cheaper to find

Agreed… our props have all the talent in the world someone just needs to tell them to wake the fk up.

This is where your leaders/game managers come in and tell them to take a run etc

Id be going hard for the eels 5/8th

Isn't that just younger much more expensive Moylan?

He's definitely notably better but unless he fell in your lap somehow I don't think that's a worthwhile upgrade.

Doesn't add any kicking or structure so not really what most people are asking for as an improvement in halves.

Agreed. I think one small excuse this game was that Rudolph was poor, which may be due to second game back after a long break and the first game being so brutal. Then Hunt was out leaving only one impact prop. We have the players though.
