Yeah I agree, not particularly happy with that if true.

Overs based on current, but he has made a bit of an improvement this year, hopefully they view him as on an upward trajectory.

Would make him about the same as Bird and as I said I see Bird as notably more valuable however I think Bird is likely around ceiling for rest of career, Nikora can still get better. If Nikora can get a bit better still approx 550k per year from 24 - 27 can be a decent deal.

Definitely seems a bit over if he doesn't keep improving, and would have got us a decent way toward a Chrichton or similar.

Maybe the replacement is Nikora and that's why you got confused?

Doesn't seem like we need Nikora, <replacement> and Teig unless <replacement> is someone who can play middle too.
I think Teig has done enough to earn that jersey.
