I wasn’t impressed with him at all, but a bit of competition for spots is a good thing. Train and trial can’t hurt.

No he wasn’t. GF day he was decent, but he was still the fifth best player in the back 5 for his own team. In other games I saw him play for Norths he was uninspiring.
The Q Cup commentators are tools. They just constantly bang on about former or touted NRL players even when other blokes are playing better. They were going on and on about Nene, and Cobbo made about a million mistakes in the GF but would have been unanimous MoM. They just can’t see past players’ contract status. Known player = good player for them.

He should go play in the NFL then, where making yardage is the only thing that matters ans he doesn’t have to play defence.
He’s an awesome dummy half runner who makes lots of metres. If that was the only thing that mattered there would be 16 teams fighting over him. It’s not though.
