He is training with Wade Graham and Cam McInnes

Cheers. So training with a couple of mates. Hardly an indication of being a Sharkies recruit.
In unrelated news I heard we are trying to get some experience in our halves via a former NZ player who also played with Warriors and Panthers as well as in England.
Only 32 so still some good years left in him and good on social media like we like in a half
Possibly relevant that he hasn't played any first grade for 6 years...

Isaac John?

He is nowhere near that same player.
Agree it is bold to assume he'd be anywhere near where he was with us three full seasons ago, played 13 NRL games since and game has sped up, which would suit him if he hadn't hardly played and moved into his 30s

You could swing him a train and trial or Jets contact and see how he looks but he's going to be a lot closer to squad #30 than #14 I expect. Quite possibly on the wrong side of the 30

Jets could probably use a hooker - Woolford and Paterson mostly played hooker for Jets last season from memory. We showed no interest in Paterson for NRL and I assume didn't even get close to a chat about an extension.
Jack A Williams appeared to train a lot at hooker for us last preseason before his throat injury in trial but think just played halves for Jets. Not sure if there are any youngins in Sharks program that will age through or would play up.

Longmuir aged out of Flegg. Was underwhelming the last couple of years though.

Hosking could play up as a bench 9/13. They’d still need a starter though.

From other forum Gun

We have had multiple chats with the Bulldogs and Nic Cotric.

With talks of Apisai Koroisau being forced out he wouldn't be cheap but is a finished product and would be a great get
Also if Tigers were to get Hodgson, I would try and tempt Jake Simpkin over

Looks like Tigers have put Hodgson talks on hold to try get Api.
Big loss to Panthers if they do release but could see him going there for extension and pay bump, maybe Simpkin or Liddle release to Panthers and they free up some dosh to retain others.

ATM if they got Hodgson Simpkin is probably close to 50/50 battle with Liddle to timeshare with the new 9/13. If he came to us it's Blayke he is competing against probably to timeshare with our own 9/13 so not very attractive for him, seems like a worse opportunity.

On 22 July 2020, the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs announced the signing of Cotric on a three-year deal starting in the 2021 season and rumoured to be worth around $600,000 per season
22 & 23 @ $300k with 3rd yr option would be good for us
