I reckon Madge will nab Thompson, wish we could get him.
I’m half wishing we got Adam Clune for 2 yrs, he would have been handy for a number of reasons, I know he’s no superstar but he would’ve been cheapish.
He would have been the perfect foil for someone like Nicho in terms of him taking the steering reigns, right now, he’s more sure of himself in terms of player maturity & composure than Trindall.
Overall, he would have been good competition for Trindall, he would have allowed us time to bring in Trindall when we wanted or Trindall may have forced our hand by playing really well, either of those two wouldn’t be on a wage that was a waste if one of them was permanently in NSW Cup waiting for their opportunity.

Exactly, Suli & Talakai are both beasts and each would attract 2/3 defenders leaving space both on the inside and outside for an offload.
However, I wouldn't pay $500k as I read on other thread. I'd go to $400k. I am not worried about his laziness as someone mentioned as I believe Fitz with Dale's leadership will whip our boys into shape.

I wouldn't call Ramien lazy this year. Seems to be having a crack most games.

Cooper would be ok not a huge improvement on trindall though. We are running out of options for halves depth though
