I'm really not that upset with Rudolf leaving. Has alot of work to do be close to the player the money they're offering him deserves.

There are clear arguments about the money offered - however the promised land of the big guns seems a long way away given our retention and recruitment to this point ....

Not surprised with the interest in Gamble .

Interesting that Melbourne amongst those interested ..

Even in this halves drought, Trindall can't seem to get any interest.
I don't hate him, but you'd have to think there's a solid reason. He's been around for long enough now

So what?

Doesn't mean he can't make it. How many clubs were interested in Cody Walker when he was 21?

Hold yer britches there pardner. He might be great in the future, who knows. Was only musing as it's surprising there's not more movement amongst halves with any sort of first grade experience. Heaps of teams are getting caught out for decent halves via HIA's and injuries, and I would have thought any half with any sort of ability would be getting a contract, even as a backup. Why isn't Trindall? We're as thin as anyone and we won't throw him a bigger!

Talk on radio about Sharks releasing Townsend to the cowboys early - Clifford to knights.. if we’re smart arrange for us to get Klemmer

I like it, no doubt Mooney will get the Knights to pay some of the Klemmer's salary too. Mooney got Klemmer to the Knights originally actually. He knows Woods, and Tolman. Albeit it only for this year haha.

I know the Knights fans aren't loving Klemmer this year but a) they're all retarded and b) his stats show he's having a very solid year.

He’d know Wade too

Was thinking about our forward pack and what is potentially achievable for a good price I would look at something like the following.

8. Klemmer
9. Brailey
10.Toby ( if we lose him we could go lodge as much as I hate him he would do well here)
11.Capewell/
12. Graham
13. McInnes

14. Tolman/hunt
15. Talaki
16. Jack Williams/Teig Wilton
17. BHU

I think this pack would Bring back some toughness and experience and wouldn't break the bank. I also think Capewell would be perfect as he also covers injuries for the outside backs and allows an extra middle forward on the bench with hooker covered with McInnes.
