If you think Townsend’s defence against the Roosters was a problem, Ashley Taylor is not going to bring you much joy. Maybe have a gander at the highlights from the Broncos V Titans game.

What would we prefer?

1. We go into 2022 with 15 odd so more games of experience under Trindal's belt (assuming kept on)

2. We look after the bloke in average form who is leaving the club cause he got a better offer

Fifita is a bigger club legend than Chad, won us a GF and he was dropped out of firsts before he even had a game in 2021 - and he still actually has an ongoing contract at the club. Was that disrespectful?

Chad made a good decision for himself but we should make one too

That makes a lot of sense. I want to see what Trindall can do alongside Johnson for at least a few games.

Dykes is not a 7.

Ernst may go on to the Jets, but isn’t a highly rated prospect.

I don’t know much about Geraghty. He just joined the club this year. I also fully expect him to lose his spot to Rivett soon.
Thanks. How is Rivett going?

Kade Dykes, Angus Ernst or Harrison Gerarghty?

Can any of then play 7? Good enough they are old enough?

Burgess has covered but i'm chiming in

Dykes is not a 7 more a fullback

Earnst sucks. Offers nothing. Needs to go now.

Haven't seen much from Gerarghty but it hasn't impressed me of what I've seen.

The only half aside from Trindall that's worth lookig at/keeping is Rivett and he's a while away I imagine. Though they might fast track him to NSW cup, I think he's in our Top 30 next year and said that was the plan. Though that was with Morris.

People can poo poo the board all they want on this one, we were never going to win.

Before boarding a flight to Brisbane for Magic Round, the premiership-winning halfback told the Herald: “There are a number of reasons I’ve signed with the Broncos – they’re a big club, a one-team town, and it’s a new challenge for myself and my family.

“It’s one of the toughest decisions I’ve ever made, not just in sport but life in general. It was very close between the Broncos and Cronulla. But it came down to that fresh start and challenge.

Good suggestion. Goes well, main reason his NRL Development slowed was his focus on Uni. We should sound him out, definite yes.

Exactly, but still, people will believe that the board are the reason.

That's people mate - who cares what they think?

At the end of the day, the players and their managers know exactly what has gone on.

As we know journalists have agendas to follow and as you said, create drama to sell their papers. They don't fool everyone you know.

I care because what they think can influence decisions.

I.e. one idiot reads another idiot's agenda-based article that so happens to influence that idiot reader's view on our club, you see where I am getting with this?

I hope everyone who doesn't follow the club hates us. Would love to be hated again.

I do mate but I don't see how that can influence decisions players make or club boards make. They'd be silly to take the word of any hearsay by idiots on Facebook or drunk journos.
