NRL page on facebook has just posted a video frothing over Sam Walker who has signed with Roosters too.
Wonder how comfortable Flanju is feeling right now... he might get the gig next year but likely just a short term opportunity and Roosters were ruthless with the Lam(b)s when they weren't up to scratch.

Walker is only 16 and Flanno signed a two year contract so quite potentially Walker might take his spot in a few years if he keeps developing.
Assuming they are keeping Keary.
I'm sure Flanno won't be too upset, if he can get some game time between now and then and improve another club will snap him up. Doubt he's ever a Shark again though.
Yeah can’t make him feel much better about the gig that he appears to just be a place holder for them, and now maybe (probably not if we are being realistic) Ash Taylor might be there for him to have to contest with too instead of his walk up start he was expecting

id say both as reynolds would have been viewed for the 14 jersey where as tracey will be in the jets

We can't be in that bad of a cap situation if we're that close to getting Reynolds. Even if we only wanted to pay half of Reynolds contract, it's still 400k approx.

Now we have Tracey I'd rather Luke than Reynolds because he's primarily a hooker and probably cheaper.
But Reynold would be an okay utility/backup
Hopefully we can wrangle one of the two, or even Lichaa or someone else mediocre but able to get by in the NRL to play 9 for the Jets in we need to cover for Blayke

the 3 options available are reynolds luke and lichaa
reyonolds probably off the table so you have to look at how you want the squad to balance next year
if you want brailey playing 80 mins, so sign lichaa and re-sign capewell
if you are worried, you sign luke and let capewell walk
