“Rumour Mill: There is expected to be a big change in the backrow at the Sydney Roosters next year. Angus Crichton looks likely to be released to return to Rugby Union with Trent Robinson very unhappy with his attitude. Tyson Frizell looks likely to join. Frizell is desperately unhappy at the Dragons, particularly with the club’s position on Jack De Belin, and has already asked for a release. Canterbury are reportedly eyeing Andrew McCullough. Cronulla have made a huge play to sign Jai Arrow.”

Potential swap deal between Roosters and Dragons has been shot down - Frizz is free to test the market as of November.

I know Arrow is the better player but I wouldn't be against getting Frizz back. Would be a little bit cheaper although not a lot.

friz on our right edge would be unreal but then nikora would be out in the cold and i feel nikora will have just as good a career as friz

Friz at lock?

I love Arrow but gee we'd have a heap of cap tied up in 4 players. Wonder if there would be plans to try and move a high paid player on?

our play to sign arrow, btw, is way more than the titans have offered him

Assuming Prior goes next year, along with Bakuya coupled with us probably not paying Nikora, Williams, Wilton and Uele massive coin then why not.

He's the middle forward leader we desperately need.

Assuming we don't get Arrow till 2021 then we only have Dugan and Moylan for one more year. I doubt we keep either of them to be honest.

Ah OK, just assumed it would be for next year.

That's not too bad then.

And I've assumed its when he's off contract. You could be right, it could be next year.

That would obviously be ideal, but wonder if Titans will let him go. Maybe with the new coach seemingly inheriting a pretty rubbish salary cap he might need to offload who he can.

Arrow is a gun but I would also love to get Friz back. Would Wade work as a traditional ball playing lock, or do we think he's best suited to the edge?

11 Nikora 12 Graham 13 Arrow or 11 Nikora 12 Frizell 13 Graham. Would be pretty ****in stoked with either.

He probably wouldn't be on big coin there now though.

You're right though, the new coach might think what's the point in having a guy here for a year when he 100% won't be here the following year.

Better to start the re-build as soon as possible I would have thought.

The way Wade's body is going lately I don't think in the middle would be a good idea.

Yeah I was surprised he wasn't named in that list of players on big coin at the Titans but he's only played 30 or so games for the Broncos I guess.

The Frizzell rumours are absolute bull**** apparently spread by a disgruntled Dragons fan trying to get McGregor sacked. I doubt Tyson goes anywhere.

It was reported at the time that the Titans gave him big money to switch.

That’s a big call bro... Frizell is a machine, one of the best 2nd rowers in the comp hands down. I think he’s better then Arrow too... he makes it in the best test side I don’t think Arrow does.

Nikora has gone quiet hopefully he comes back

Given a choice of Friz, Arrow or Nikora, I would take Friz.

They’re all good players but to me Friz is the most experienced and the most explosive.

Always puts in.

It's a tough call but I would go Arrow. Only because I think we're lacking a dominant middle man and Arrow could be it. He's the perfect Gal replacement.

Frizell is better on the edge imo and we have Graham and Nikora there, plus Wilton coming through.
