The judiciary made a fuss about it being his second offence in a short space of time, so where was that thinking when McGuire got two love taps on the wrist.

I took it as he's not even getting $500k offers.

He did what Blake Austin did, knocked back silly Raiders money, found out no one else would come close to what Raiders offered let alone whatever he thought he was worth, went back to find out Raiders have pulled the offer.

He’s been pumped up big time through juniors but hasn’t kicked on just yet. A bit of a project I guess. He was under contract so maybe we consider him a swap for Lumelume (who is named in the centres this week in Q Cup).

So I haven't seen anyone mention it but Simona got the green light to come back. I loathe what he did but in a league where lodge gets a second chance, combined with our outside back stocks, I'd give him a contract.

Nah I think we should be staying far away from players with baggage like that for a while considering our brand has been absolutely hammered the past year.

I’d be happy to take a chance on a quality player with a bit of baggage, but Simona’s just not that good.
