cant see Chad going for a number of reasons,
the two big ones
how late in the offseason
his mother inlaw is not well & no way his wife will up & move, to Canberra, let alone Brisbane

We don't want to let Chad go – not just yet. Young Flanno and Trindall look promising but neither have proven a thing yet.

Brodie Croft looked like a sure thing, and while Storm still made the GF last year, he was in and out of FG all year.

That said, if Chad did go and young Flanno struggled, we could move Moylan back to 6 and give Will Kennedy a go at 1. Or move Dugan there, and bring Xerri into the centres...

We're lucky we have so much depth this year. Losing Chad would be the worst option of the 3, but even then we'd find a way.

I think we're nuts to move Chad on this year. After this year sure, provided we're confident FJ is ready but I'd imagine Trindall (if good enough) won't be ready till 2021 with a few games here and there?

Seggy is gone for the time being is my understanding. If we can release a player we can bring Seggy back.

I haven't been following this closely though so I could be an ill informed idiot.

lets get this clear - seggy is a shark, he just isnt registered until we are cap compliant

i dare say he will run out for newtown in round 2

until either feki or ava are released we wont see seggy

we need to be $353k under the cap by june 30 with 29 players on our books

i can see greg eastwood being a late signing

no, we are under the cap hence being able to sign seggy, if we didnt have a cap fine seggy would be on our books and it would be happy days

releasing ava or feki gives us enough breathing space and allows us to add seggy
