To think l shook his hand once and l have forever been trying to wash the slime off
That's not slime - it's tomato juice. I know it's not good for the skin but you gunna have to pull out the Bleach bro, nothing gettin that virgin gravy out

The world will be a better place when he dies

.... or retires

retire from what? Professional gossip monger...? bloke is a glorified blogger, what he does should be a hobby not paid work.
I place him only a slight rung above Instagram celebrity but without the good looks or following and less credibility

On the NRL site there's a photo from Seibold's first Bronco's press conference. Darius Boyd in the background looks none too pleased.
Take it easy mate, bloke's dad is moving interstate at short notice and he didn't even get a chance to trash a hotel room over it

900k a season isnt good value at all

He is 28 next year, 32 in his final year and has had 3/4 of a good season

Terrible decision money wise

I think teams started to work Souths out late in the year. Will be interesting to see how effective Cook is next year.

That's true, teams did start to implement plans to cut down his effectiveness and that was facilitated by slowing the ruck/play the ball down which an easing off of penalties by officials allowed the wrestle back in.

Cook is a good player but it's alot of money for a player who's effectiveness is determined by which way the refs decide to officiate month to month. Cook wasn't able to bring much to the table in the back end of the season.

Needs to bring in additional elements to his game (passing, game management ect...) to offset the limitations on running opportunities.

I can't see Cook being anywhere near as effective as next year now teams will focus on him more.

Also I see Bennett changing Cook's game plan rather him changing his game plan to fit Cook. So I don't think we'll see him attack as much anyway.

That's what I mean with if he can keep it up. He looks a lot like a player that will fade out.

One season wonder imo. All he has is pace. Two markers split each side, cut him down with the second defender coming in he’s got nothing. Passing game is average and his defence is decent. Nowhere near worth that kind of money

Well his is or was based off what he did this year but as you & others alluded to, he has one year of being a dominant or giving elite performance, big risk from Souths to invest that much money in the cap from a single season of history, i don't think your solution to shutting him down will be as easy as you portray, he will be heavily marked this coming season so he will have to re invent him game to a degree, personally, he'll still be good BUT he wont do what he did this season with as much consistancy.
