If we are serious about winning the comp we need a guy in that spot who knows how to defend. For all the flashiness of 2016 it was defence that won the comp.

Our defence has always been good and is still good. We won that comp because of our attack particularly Ennis, Maloney and Barba and the attack they provided. In 2016 we had Barba, Val and Fekki all up near the top try scorers. We also averaged more points and more tries per game than the preceding years and years since. That's why we won that comp.

they are about to do the treble and barba will win the man of steel

Yet we won against Canberra and Melbourne by scoring just two tries - one from each prop. Toweling up the minnows is fun but defence wins the big games.

Granted we did mate but we could put something on if need be, or should i say, we had more chances of doing something, we don't have nearly as much fire power anymore & the other teams know it.

Didn’t know where else to post this but out of curiosity does anyone know if this is the first year we’ve had the sticky dots on the front of the playing jerseys or are they just more obvious because of the design?

You wont continue to win games by scoring two tries a game, as we have pretty much demonstrated the last few years. Puts too much pressure on your defence. Check the stats mate, you'll see our try scoring and points for improved dramatically in 2016. Before that and after that its pretty average.

If you're talking about Wadeo I'm pretty sure they were put there by DJ

Every team has those

I got a John Morris signed jersey in 2010 and they had them

We were with ISC then. I think the first few years of us having xblades player worns didnt have them but it seems most teams have them now regardless of jersey maker.

Funny, i dont see much difference in handling errors though... haha

Woods 800k, told he is free to look around I just read... great decision that one... how much freight would dogs have to pay for us to entertain the idea. We chipped in 500k I’d take him not that I’m his biggest fan, but flanno is the forwards whisperer.

Over rated for mine.
Not a fan and I don’t think he has ever been origin quality TBH.

For $500k and if he's not picked for Origin this season, maybe.....

I dunno it would allow Fifita to play lock when Gal retires. So that's a thing. Flanno does like a forward bargain as well.
