Let him go, put Ramien in the team.

Agree. Huge respect for leutele, but really is he a must keep? No.

Would u go dugan left and ramien right? Dugan was great on tge left in the WC, and a combo with graham could be what the doctor ordered

It would majorly suck to lose Ricky. He has been a good, long serving and loyal clubman for a long time. But it would give Ramien a pathway into the team. I think this is one of those rare moments where we can make everybody involved happy here.

I like that . But isn't Gray itching for a left centre position .
Do the Titans have a decent spare half available ?
Interesting scenario .

This is true however what we’ve seen from ricky is all we’ll get. Good player, but like feki, isnt the be all end all. Love what hes done for us, and isnpart of the team of 2016. Forever a sharks champion

Even if Ramien can’t cut it, apparently Katoa is turning a lot of heads in training, particularly Flanagan’s. There some suggestion he could even force his way into the team onto the wing in round 1, I don’t know about that but apparently he’s definitely looking the real deal at this very early stage. I love Leutele and will be sad to see him go, but I have absolutely no doubt one of our younger guys could be more then a handy replacement. Give one of our younger guys a go, unless someone outstanding comes onto the market, I say don’t recruit from outside for a replacement.

I'm keen to see how Bronson Xerri goes - doubt he'll get a game this year unless we suffer injuries, though with Dugan and Grey possibly our centers it's likely.

Kids got massive wraps, equal to Curtis Scott. Currently training with the full time squad.

Re: Ricky Leutele ... IMO the Titans would need to let someone go. You would have to assume that Don, Gordon and Hurrell have 3 spots locked up and they have a lot of guys on their books who play in the 3/4 (Lee, Elliot, Roberts-Davis, Olive, Copley, Sami, Cooper). Leutele makes the team over those guys, but you would think one or more of those blokes would be a little annoyed with the idea of losing out on the opportunity to compete for a spot.

As far as a swap goes, a perfect situation for the Sharks would be pry Lawton away (he's a 5/8 who has been playing hooker off the bench) but he's a local kid who just re-signed so that's highly unlikely. Most likely they just release one of those depth 3/4 guys to the Sharks or to someone else.

Would be sad to see Luetele go, but It is a loss we can cover. We have gray or Ramien who could easily do the job. Personally i would love to see Ramien take his spot and Katoa and Gray fight for the wing spot. I dont see ramien as a winger.

Well if we do end up doing a back for back swap deal, I’d happily take Anthony Don off their hands.

Sure they might be annoyed but end of the day it's about being competitive, and if Leutele is better than who they have then they should be trying to fit him in. And with Hayne gone I don't see how they can't from a cap perspective.

Player swap is a solid idea, who I'd take I'm not sure. A back for depth would be good or preferably a promising junior
