With Thurston likely retiring at the end of the season, I reckon the Cowboys will probably have the cash to match any offers he gets. I reckon he stays there. Wouldn’t hurt to try and jack up his price though aye?

Wait for it. Waaaaiiiit for it, waaaaaaaiiiiiittttttt foooorrrr it!

Watch the NRL back down and let this dick back into the comp to play for one of the shiitiest clubs!

https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nr...y/news-story/c17e076cfe79a05de1b1cc44fd0543b2

Contract amount?
$1.00

NRL should demand he take ownership and public apology to the game and the Sharks especially for the bubbler . Perhaps pay some financial penalty to the club he sued .
He may have been legally correct , but our club brand suffered .He owes us something , before he can be allowed to play NRL again.
Just my 2 cents

Meh.

Since he left we've won a premiership, have record memberships and plenty of sponsors.

Carney did break down in the 2 finals series he made with us - and that was 5 years ago.

If I was Manly his body, rather then his off field record, would be my biggest concern.

Spot on, Todd was done a while ago. Todd is what, 32? Ultimate pros who look after themselves are close to retirement at that age - Todd is a piss-wreak and has been most his life. Best thing he did for us is piss in his mouth. Happy to see him go to a rival, it'll just be a race between his body and his stupidity to see which ends it all in tears first.

And **** him - he ****ed up, but yet had the gall to sue our club without the slightest right to do so.

Germ of the highest order.

If he worked for NRMA and they skipped process to dismiss him no one would give a **** if he got a $200K payout.

Sharks ****ed up, he took advantage of his legal right to get a chunk of coin.

A lesson learned the hard way for the Cronulla Sharks.

Carney has never been made accountable for his actions, so it's a vicious cycle of him getting a chance and then him throwing it in their faces.

With that in mind, I 100% support his move to Manly.

I'm sure this won't take too long!
Then he can sue the Seagulls for terminating his contract.

Goulburn Workers should sign him up.
