Anthony Griffin said this morning that Jimmy Maloney deal was not done yet. Any hope he stays?

Yep that's what I think as well. He's proven what type of a person he is.

I disagree he has made it clear he wants more money and I can’t blame the bloke for wanting to test his worth, clearly he is worth more then what he is being paid as the pennies have thrown big dollars at him. I know he signed a contract but clubs break contracts all the time but it only seems people get ****ty when players do it. For an extra $150k you can keep a player who helped win us a comp and is an amazing goal kicker

if we can pay pearce we can pay maloney

there is a reason why we wont

Exactly. Everyone on social media has been bagging the sharks for the ‘trade’. If the Sharks wanted maloney theyd have upped his contract. More to the story for sure

Its easy to forget Moylan is a gun player when we've had his dramas posted about right in our faces for the past couple months.
We are getting more ability and better shelf life minus the better experience.

I still think our backline is one player short we need either a fullback, gun winger or Half.

I'm confident that Moylan can play 5/8 at an elite level but we need a game manager.

The thing that I wonder is whether Chad can be the game manager. Reliable, cool-headed, confident, boss.

I want to be clear in saying I like Luetele a lot. I do however think Jesse Ramien would comfortably do his job very well. Would be good if we could let Lutes go and sign a gun winger....or just sign a gun winger. Aaron Gray I am not 100% sure about. not saying he can't be a guy, just haven't watched much of him
