Oh yeah Hannay was supposed to be a high profile signing wasn't he.
Scary thing was that Beau was one of our best backs there for a few games.

Am I one of the few here that thought Beau Ryan wasn't actually a terrible footballer? Not a great footballer but not a terrible one.

Atleast he gave us a voice on the footy show all b it being a goofball during those dark days. Genuinely looked like he busted his balls and tried his hardest every time he wore our colours, which is all you can ask for
From memory he caught most of the kicks that came his way and although he wasn't super fast, he ran the ball back hard and put his head on the line. I was happy with most of his games for us. A dependable 7/10 guy, can't ask for much more.

English glamour club Warrington has made a dramatic late bid to sign disgruntled Sharks five-eighth James Maloney.
Maloney is under contract to the Sharks for next season but has not been happy with his pay packet and has been on the radar of the Knights, Rabbitohs and several other NRL clubs.
But the entry of Warrington into the race ups the ante and the veteran five-eighth, who turns 32 next season, could pick up a three-year final payday from the cashed up Wolves.
Maloney’s manager met with Warrington officials just a couple of days ago and a firm deal could be on the table soon.
