I too would like to see the thicko stay, I can't see it happening though, I mean the chances of Jack Baird understanding any concept of the salary cap is a stretch but if he wants to stay he seems like the sort of bloke that would probably sign for unders. I reckon him playing with a less distracted (SOO/Broncos contract) mind would see the good Bird make a comeback.

noone is claiming to be better than bird. he signed away with the broncos. we replaced him with a state and international rep fullback/centre. He doesnt have a place here

Gal mentioned it in his interview about him extending. Didn't say him by name but mentioned a forward from the Cowboys.
