Finally ! Read my post in the Sharks v Gold Coast post - I saw good in Don a while ago. Stong, fast and can tackle. I would swap him with Leutele.

Read today there is some sort of talk around Cronk to newcastle, and also that newcastle would allow Cronk to stay in sydney through hte week and just come up for the game/late week training runs.....thats not a lot of value for someone who will get about a mil for the season, and isnt there doing work with the inexperienced halves that they do have. They might be a bit competitive for 1 season then back to what they were. Not a good long term move for them but whatever

that would actually be a good move for that club, if they could offload enough to get him there.
Put cleary in 6, cronk half back. 1 or 2 years whatever cooper wants. cleary will learn alot off him in that short time to help him progress further.

yeah i dont think he will. I think Melbourne are a real good chance of a premiership this year, and I think if they did do it, Cronk will go out with that

Regardless of that i doubt he plays on. Every time he talks about next year it seems fairly obvious his heart isn't in playing for another team.

yeah i think with the way the market is right now, if he doesnt sign somewhere soon, he wont sign anywhere. come end of season noone will be able to fit him in anyway. and he seems ok with that.
and respect to him for that. he could just say **** it, newy can give me $1.5M next year and those idiots probably would.
