I wonder if it's just more than his comments in the media, seems to be an overreaction if you ask me and perhaps it's more to do with the salary cap and third party payments.
In regards to us keeping him now, I wonder if he's burnt some bridges or we've allocated those funds to Fifita, Holmes, Brown et al. Besides was never comfortable with what we were offering in the first place. Throw him 550k and be done with it.

He's not worth 750k, (thats what we reportadly offered him) not even on last yrs form, yes he's good but we dodged a bullet first time around not getting caught paying him that much, I would like us to keep him but at a fair price for all concerned.

Totally Agree, i hope he stays, the crowds should be out on Sat to support him- not his fault this situation IMHO.Many times i've seen people headhunted on big offers, only to be given a haircut within 12 mths.Hope young Lichea is listening.He(Andrew) hopefully learns from this and does not go the other way to prove he can get a matched amount from another club.ie pride.
