I'd take woods but probably not for the price he'd be asking. I also agree with whoever said the reynolds chat is probably a ploy to make chad sign quicker/feel a little more expendable so we don't overpay for him. Prior/Fifita/Woods as a middle pack is still damn good post gallen.

i havent heard flannos interview yet. what was actually said. usually the head line exaggerates what was said.

Was he asked about reynolds and he made a vague statement about him and his the type of player youd want. or did he just say, yep i want him?

Flanno is playing games again similar to the bluff before last weeks game. He is trying to get a reaction from Bird and Townsend. Basically if both left he would the really consider Reynolds and move Maloney to halfback

He plays well when his head is in the right place/has his game brain on - but that seems pretty rare. He might end up at hooker for someone, who knows.

Agreed but he's all enthusiasm little skill. Same went for bird in 2015, just backed himself running and succeeded. I wouldnt want him near our club for 800k.

REYNOLDS’ POSSIBLE LIFELINE

Canterbury fan favourite Josh Reynolds is desperate to stay at Canterbury and talks with the club about a contract extension are still ongoing.

But should the Bulldogs decide to go into another direction and not re-sign the five-eighth, Cronulla coach Shane Flanagan admits he’d be interested in picking him up.

“I’ve known Josh since he was a kid, we’re from the same junior club,” Flanagan told Channel Nine.

“I know his father and his mother so that’s where that interest comes from ... if he’s going to leave the Bulldogs, I’ll talk to him.

“He’s one of those players you look for, and if you need points, you throw the ball in Josh’s hands.”

I wouldn't want to touch him if he is involved in the betting stuff but otherwise he'd be worth a look.

I'm sure that the betting stuff could come to a head if he signed with us. Probably get a life ban the day after signing a contract.
