yeah he's pretty good to be honest. Well from what I saw from him. Played with Capewell at Ipswich when they won it.

Parcell was the hooker in that Ipswich side wasn't he?

I only saw two games of his but I was relatively impressed by him, not sure if he would be the answer to our hooker woes but haven't seen enough of him to gauge it.

Parcell is average. Nothing special. Strange signing considering what we already have

I beg to differ .He played injured all this year .
Extremely quick off the mark , good reads and scored a record 5 tries in the intrust in a semi the year before, amongst bag fulls during the year .
He is the goods and could play 80 minutes for us .
Make the swap happen .

In 2015, Parcell joined the Brisbane Broncos.[4] In the pre-season, he beat former Bronco Jake Granville's 2.5 kilometre cross country record twice in one hour and then set a new mark for the Broncos' 1.8 kilometre run, while he can also run 40 metres in under five seconds.[4] On 3 May, he played for the Queensland Residents against the New South Wales Residents.[5] In Round 12 of the 2015 NRL season, he made his NRL debut for the Broncos against the Canberra Raiders.[6] On 18 August, he signed a 3-year contract with the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles starting in 2016.[7]

15 games. 2 tries. 1 try assist and 3 linebreaks in the grade that matters

His ex Ipswich coach Walker reckons he has the ability be he next QLD Origin Hooker when Cameron Smith retires .
Had limited minutes with Manly and injuries .
He's just entering prime age for footy with a bit of experience now .
Below is an NRL sourced except .from 2015

While Parcell's running game and tireless work around dummy-half helped him attracted interest from a number of NRL clubs, the grandson of former Kangaroos prop Gary Parcell has been trying to sharpen his defence during training for both the Jets and Broncos.

"Defensively I feel stronger – I think being able to play full-time I've been able to pick up a bit extra speed and strength and hopefully I can continue it next year."

Parcell's defensive work has paid dividends in 2015 with the 181-centimetre, 81-kilogram( bigger now ) baby-faced rake making 715 tackles for the Jets this season with only 17 misses, while during his six games at NRL level he made 99 tackles with just three missed.

How much did Souths pay for him? Also his brother is the physio at Souths, not sure if that played a role in his decision.
Yeah really don't know was more of a off the cuff remark by me, whatever way we go replacing ennis it's going to be a step backwards plus a xtra bench spot, hope we get him and he spins some magic.
Flanno past the biggest test and got us the premership his credentials will sky rocket if he can weave his magic next couple of seasons and replace ennis gal heino lewy and bring in some fresh faces without too many steps backwards.
