Which is worse, removing stitches or a mouthguard?

Pulling at a guys stitches is part of trying to get a advantage for your team but stealing a mouth guard is a dog act.

I don't like smith but I find it more humerus than the crime of the century.

There was Plenty of niggle in last nights game, wonder if other teams might take a leaf out of our book and try and ruffle em early... Flanno could now be an innovator!!!

VETERAN SHARKS IN LIMBO

The future of Cronulla veterans Paul Gallen and Luke Lewis are up in the air.

Despite indicating he’d like to play on next season, the Sharks skipper is no guarantee to earn a contract extension for 2017.

Market Watch can reveal the Sharks will wait until late July before making a call on whether to offer the veteran forward another deal.

Set to make his return from a knee injury this weekend, the club want to see how Gallen pulls up post-Origin before entering into any discussions.

It’s a similar situation for Lewis who has been told he’ll have to wait until round 10 before the Sharks begin talks.

While the club has indicated they’d like to keep Lewis, the backrower has received interest from five rival NRL clubs.

Super League clubs have also reaches out although his preference is to remain in the NRL.

Lewis is currently negotiating his own contract and open to leaving Sydney to extend his career.

Gallen, 34 and Lewis, 32, headline a list of ageing stars off contract at the club which includes Michael Ennis, 32, Chris Heighington, 34 and Sam Tagataese, 29 turning 30.

NO SHARK IN THIS LANE

According to social media, Bulldogs backrower Shaun Lane could be heading to Cronulla.

But according to the Sharks, they aren’t interested.

The club insists Lane’s management approached them to gauge their interest in the 21-year-old but at this stage they won’t be pursuing him.

The same goes for Cowboys backrower Ethan Lowe who was also linked to The Shire recently.

Good call by the club, let's wait and see,
I'm sure we would love Ethan Lowe so I rekon we could have a good look, Shaun lane not this year but would be useful post gal heino and lewy.

I think we should be happy with either Lane or Lowe. Both very handy replacements for a pack starting to age.

Gilette would be a good pickup.

How much are we going to have to spend? We have a number of players off contract, there shouldn't much from stopping us from picking a couple of really really good replacements.

I edited my above post which pretty much said they same thing as you because I was scared of being flamed for it.

haha, Lowe is good but I don't know whether he would look as good outside of the Cowboys, Gillett would be impressive in any team he played with.

So funny, that's exactly what I said. He seems to me to be one of those players who looks good in a good team.

Do we think gillet could possible leave qld?
Rekon Titans would throw the kitchen sink at him if he left the Broncos.
