So which players are the dogs getting rid off, because they are going to need to shed some serious $$$ to be under the cap next year

Can't be too mad at the dogs, this is what it must have felt like being a Tigers or Panthers supporter the last 3 years

A quick note, I have no doubt other clubs are luring our players on the basis of hey they have all this ASADA drama and have no money scenario you'll have a more secure future with us and better resources etc. If the players buy into this and the money is similar or a little bit more they will likely jump ship if they think they are going to a better environment and more resourced club, which they often are

You watch, he'll be dropped now and De Gois will be brought back in. Too little, too late flanno. On your bike.

We are going to have some serious cap space to play with next year, Fifita and Lichha gone with Morris and Gibbs likely to retire. We should also get rid of IDG, stapleton and Gardner.

Re-sign Holmes, Brown, Graham and D Fifita and go after 2 good young props a cracking centre and decent half back

**** this ****, they might as well piss off now.

So what will a next signing be, ET on a 6 month contract.

We need to be bringing these young players through the ranks, but most are going out the door.

What is going on with our recruitment. Last years I was very happy with our stocks, not so much now.

It's called Shane Flanagan.

Everything bad that has happened to this club is as a result of Flanno's negligence. We wouldn't be in this mess had he taken Doc seriously and made the appropriate moves. If the club is smart they won't be renewing his contract.

Unpopular view, but I'm happy to bring idg back in for lichaa, if he has signed elsewhere.... No need to blood him unless we want to thrash him like a hire car then he will be broken when we give him to the bulldogs....love signing players from under the noses of other clubs, quite annoyed when it happens to us.... Not convinced he has only just signed rekon this deal was brokered long ago... Later enjoy being stuck behind Ennis

Play him 80 minutes every week injured or not for 24 more rounds.

I'm with you, they are paying him $300k and he's played 40 minutes off FG. stick him back in NSW cup and don't give him the experience, Fifita is different he is a regular FG and Australian rep you play him.

I may be bitter but i hope he turns out to be a average player and the dogs are stuck with him

In your head, rent free
depends, i would have given him another game this weekend, and one more when all our players are back. i think michael would be more of a contributor than IDG, and lets face it, we are 28 weeks away from the end of 2014. if we want to win it this year, we have to play our best players, regardless of where they are next year.

there is still time, and an ever changing market to play. to be honest, i wouldnt be upset if we ended up with ennis. i watched him on monday night and he still has it. and he loves a big aggressive pack, which we can still end up with. he is a sneaky player, and he picks and chooses his time to inject himself. gets as many penalties as he gives away.

matt srama is another we could look at, and then there is our own nu'u brown.

the best thing to happen to us, yes i know we have lost the best prop in the game and a promising junior, but it happened in round 2. we have cap space, and players will be getting released.

in all honest, if we lose fifita and lichaa, and end up with say, grant kasiano and ennis at the same price or less than it would of cost us to match those contracts, then imo, we are on the front foot again.

add to the fact that we could still pry someone like t-rex and feed him off carney, and still be level.

josh mccrone is another player worth having a dig at.

the market is there, players will be tempted by money.

like i said, the best thing to happen, is it happened in round 2, not round 20 when the market is/was dry.

the next step for us to move forward, is closure with asada. the minute that cloud moves from over us, we can assure potential recruits what the future holds for them.

guys, be patient, we have been around for 47 years with no joy, we have watched good players leave us before and we are still here.

it hurts, but so does a busted shoulder. we get over it, and move on.

come get drunk at my house on saturday, and embrace the first step of our therapy.

onwards and upwards.

Ennis will now sign with us on stupid dollars i bet.
I have now come to the conclussion that I'm happy to get him on a fair contract.

If he gets dropped, the coaching staff for me will be confirmed clowns. He's a lot better than Degois and we're in a bad way right now. We play him.

Alternatively they could play Penani instead if he is a viable option. Brown is too young and Degois is gone.
