Not Sharks related, but was talking to a mate linked to the Tigers and he reckons Farrah's gonski's.

Apparently the whole "I'll happily play NSW Cup" was just to try and get the board to back down, now that it's apparent they won't he's gonna take the release.

He's talking to the bunnies and Dragons.

I watched him all year and looked up his stats the other day, he was average, dominated regularly and missed tackles on the reg.

His work rate was also poor and i assumed we were looking for another prior, not another taga who's lazy and has less punch.

Flanno somehow got Tagataese motivated and look how Sam finished the season.

If Flanno could do that to Grant we'd have one of the best forward packs in the competition.

If Grant was willing to take a 150k a year contract then I reckon he'd be worth the punt. Worst case scenario we sign some experienced depth.

I'm gun shy about this best forward pack in the comp talk, I used to agree but after what the cows did to us in that final, yeah on a good day better than alot but that seemed a massive statement after the last game plus our experienced pack are all another year older.

Yep, we have a good pack, but the Cows tore us a new one and a lot of our blokes are really starting to knock on in the age department.

We need more than Tim Grant even if in form.

I must have watched a different Tim Grant this year and the last few years?

He's been dog**** for ages and was again this year.

We have a knack for getting our forwards to stand up, I.E Snowden, Fifita, Taga etc

If we did that with Page and Grant I'd be happy

For $150k of course a punt on Tim Grant would be worth. Souths had a shocker this year, he wasn't the only bloke who played worse than what he is capable of. I think we'd be able to turn him back to his pre-2014 form.

But he probably could get more $$$ in England.

Read something that south's were prepared to chip into grants contract, he's signed up for the next 3 years too I believe so if it worked out it would be a massive coup.

I feel like they have too many forwards already, surely they can't squeeze any more in.

Their prop depth is pretty garbage, Danny Wicks was starting prop for most of the season or something. The Hopoate back-to-Manly rumours might also mean they have a little money to spare.
