Forgot to post it hear, but I read a week or two ago on the Panthers forum that apparently we're one of the clubs chasing Leilani Latu.

Looks good from what I've seen of him.

Big bald ****er who came off the bench for them last Monday night?

First I'd seen of him but he's a big lad who looked to get involved. Didn't gas out as quick as I thought he might either.

The tigers and warriors forwards whos names i cannot be ***ed even attempting to spell their names would be great buys also. Both are [/B]aggressive and would shine in our pack that already has established leaders and work horses.

We've needed a bigger pack for years and those two would add some formidable size.

This sounds promising if true and totally agree with your last line.

Yep.

He's been playing well all year. Would be a handy pick up

Curtis Scott signs with Melbourne. ****in ****
As a young centre, why would you sign with a club that will lose it's spine to retirement about the same time you debut. 1, 7, 9 are all gone by 2018 I'd say and Curtis is only 17 with pretty good melbourne centres in front of him. I can understand young halves lining up to sign there but a young centre is weird IMO.

Fantastic system with huge amounts of money for specialist coaches can really help a young bloke.

We've been crying for a strike centre for years and when we've finally developed one we let him slip. What a shame.

Any good?

NSW Origin U16 halfback I think.

Did we offer Curt a contract? I'd have to assume we did, if that's the case I don't think its us 'letting him go', he probably saw the Melbourne system and thought it was better than ours. A kid his age, I can't imagine there would of been much difference in the value of the two contracts. End of the day, he probably thinks he'd develop his skills better there, he might be right, we'll see.
