Ok who misses out then?

What if barba buckles under pressure of the full back role fulltime? We will call for him to be sacked or have an 800k bench player and dont play brown.
We dont really have depth signed on yet. Holmes and bird are both still very young and werent we all saying their bodies cant handle a full year in the top grade?

If Copley is smart he'll have his manager approach the Cowboys. It'll be a free ticket into the Qld Origin side playing off Morgan on that right edge.

Copley would be a great signing. I'm starting to think Bird may fill Lewis' spot when he retires so he may not be squeezed into the backs after all. With Copley we would then have good options the backs.

Bird is no where near ready for the forwards. He got handled way to easy yesterday. He is playing one in at the moment. It's crucial for his development that he goes to the centres next year. He needs space to be fully effective.

I think he meant he is to slight or not strong enough yet to play in forwards, I agree with you, more often than not he is defensively sound.

He did. But he got upended a number of times with the ball in hand. The Dogs push up hard on the edges and he didn't have the time to do anything. That comes with experience. He isn't a first grade 6...yet. He is doing a good job as a stop gap but he would be great on the right side centre if they could get him early ball.

OK gotchya.

Agree it's way too early for him to be playing in the forwards, needs at least two more off seasons yet. Has to be in the centres next year.

That's something a sharks centre rarely gets.
