So apparently the Sea Eagles are going through a clean out... Anyone interested in Matt Ballin if he becomes available??? I know Ennis is a strong 80 minute player - but a good pick up I say!
You're kidding right ?

Chris Sandow going mega cheap.
How the tide turns in the nrl circle of life.
Still can't believe people actually wanted him to come to the Sharks. NFI

I think with the changing of the interchange rules he will tear it up around tired forwards
it's only two interchanges, I don't think we'll see the dramatic opening up off the field as some people are thinking.
New NRL interchange rules set to produce more footballers and less athletes
Brad Walter - Brisbane Times
Hookers are set to play 80 minutes, front rowers may need to be five kilograms lighter and utility players will become more valuable.
Those are expected to be the major changes caused by the NRL's decision to reduce the number of interchanges from 10 to eight per team next season and introduce a shot clock for goal line dropouts and scrums.
The move is designed to encourage a more entertaining and attacking style of play, and should result in more emphasis on the development of footballers rather than athletes.
From a purely mathematical point of view, the loss of two interchanges may not seem like a change that would have a big impact on games, particularly as many teams do not use all 10 interchanges each week.
However, it will mean that coaches have to be more strategic with the way they manage their benches and players will need to be fitter as fatigue becomes more of a factor towards the back end of matches.
Instead of sending a back-up dummy half out for a 15-minute stint to give their hooker a breather before coming back on later in the match, coaches are more likely to want the man assigned the No.9 shirt to play the full game.
An alternative may be to have two hookers who split the 80-minute shift, with one starting and the other replacing him for the remainder of the match, but few coaches are likely to use two interchanges spelling their dummy half.
Second rowers are also more likely to play 80 minutes, while props are expected to be lighter and more mobile - similar to lock forwards, such as St George Illawarra's Mike Cooper, Canterbury's Greg Eastwood or North Queensland's Jason Taumalolo.
The move to reduce the number of interchanges stems from a study last year in which the NRL compiled data from the previous 10 seasons, which showed that line breaks (10.1 per game in 2004 to eight per game in 2014), off-loads (24 to 17.69) and tries (8.4 to 7.3) had decreased significantly.
At the same time, the number of three-man tackles had nearly doubled to 35 per cent of all tackles, and these changes coincided with an increase in the weight and height of players across every position.
By reducing the number of interchanges, fatigue is expected to become more of a factor in games as smaller playmakers target tiring defenders and teams will be more likely to carry an impact player on the bench.
Canterbury and Cronulla have already begun doing so in some matches this season, with Josh Reynolds starting four matches on the bench for the Bulldogs and Ben Barba being used in a similar role for the Sharks.
The best example of how an impact player can change the course of a match was when Reynolds came off the bench for the final 20 minutes of the Queen's Birthday public holiday match against St George Illawarra with his side trailing 16-12 and sparked them to a 29-16 win.

or just to scared to drop his boy flash, one of the 2Has supercoach been ahead of the game? Is supercoach a genius? Say it isn't so.
or just to scared to drop his boy flash, one of the 2
We don't know for a fact flanno said that flash could leave
Well he must have given him some indication.
Either way, Flanno clearly has no Michael Gordon in his future side and he is under-performing so why is he being granted some unconditional place in the team.
not necessary. Don't forget flash and his manager have publicly whinged before to try to get there own way.Well he must have given him some indication.

I don't trust Flanno nor Gordon's manage as far as I can throw them
because he makes barba like runs and has been our player of the year the last two years, a great clubman who deserves to play out the year in his preferred position in first gradeNo i agree. But the fact flanno refused to re-sign him means he doesnt see him as part of the roster next year. But holmes and barba are here now. So why play him
