Mason Lino . good halfback ,good goal kicker also , he would run rings around anything or one we have at the moment , would be a reasonable price , watched the same game against the Roos , got the ball out to his backs real quick and he can defend.

Was just reading up and hes off contract. Was meant to join french rugby but due to injury signed a 1 year deal. We should be in his ear! Hes behind Lolohea even if/when they lose the Chad.

Depends how much they cost HB.

We all know Flanno is the bargainiser and that's not such a bad thing.

I'd rather jag Sandow at 300k than Maloney at 850k

If Sandow costed more and Maloney less I'd start leaning more toward Maloney.

Persobally I'd rather Maloney ..
No doubt if we offered say 800K a year and the Roosters offered 350K.
Somehow amazingly he'd stay at the Roosters and be better off financially .
Funny how that works ;)

Maloney everyday of the week.

I like the two Canberra halves aswell.

No to sandow, he'd be a good partner for chad but I think it's finally time to stop taking those sort of risks.

RABBITOHS SIGN PAUL CARTER
RABBITOHS.COM.AU – JUNE 15, 2015
GOLD COAST TITANS, NEWS, PAUL CARTER, SOUTH SYDNEY RABBITOHS
Paul Carter

The South Sydney Rabbitohs have signed utility forward Paul Carter for the remainder of the 2015 season, plus the 2016 season, today.

Carter, 23, is a former Australian Schoolboys, NSW Residents and NSW under 20s representative who made his first grade debut with the Gold Coast Titans in round one of the 2014 season, going on to make 21 appearances for the Gold Coast.

Rabbitohs Head Coach Michael Maguire is looking forward to having Carter join the squad.

“Paul showed during his time at the Titans that he is a quality NRL footballer and we’re looking forward to working with him and bringing him into our Club and our culture,” Coach Maguire said.

“Paul is very capable of performing consistently at the top level and with hard work and dedication he will have opportunities to ply his trade here at South Sydney.

“Paul will join our squad this week and during our discussions he has indicated that he will be working very hard to earn a place in our top 17.”

Carter is excited about the opportunity to join the Rabbitohs mid-season.

“The Rabbitohs have shown faith in me as a person and a footballer to get the job done for the Club, and I thank the Club for giving me this opportunity,” Carter said.

I agree with digits, Maloney any day of the week. Sandow is just too big of a risk for the club and past experience with him at the eels tells me he will screw up again

Look how did we get Carney? This is why clubs need to stand players down, then allow the player to seek a new contract in which the current club negotiates a bit of a release fee. I think its getting to that point. Or, if players are sacked for disciplinary reasons, with the NRLs approval as well he can't be signed until the start of the next year. I think if the NRL and club agree a punishment of sacking him is warranted, a suspension for that season should go with it.

When can they advise new signings for 2016 ,is it after 30.6 or at anytime now ?

anyone can sign wherever they want now. Some can immediate transfer (until 30-6) or sign from next year on.

I think the new system is supposed to be you can re-sign with a club whenever you want, even 2-3 years in advance. You can only sign elsewhere in your last contract year, and you only have 10 days to backflip. Not sure if the backflip thing only allows you to remain where you are or if you have 10 days to take in other offers?

So they should be advising new players before the ink has dried on the contracts.Just the sound of silence is killing me softly

Kicking coach I think, he hasn't helped much in the way of Robson's chip kicks, correction, down field tackle 5 kicks.

In Adam's defence, he doesn't have much to work with at the moment, I'd give him a chance to work with Townsend and Maloney next year if we get them.

I don't remember Adam being anything extraordinary in the kicking department - his skills were in the running. passing & vision department for mine?

Is Kimmorley available or with another club? surely he would be a good fit, kicking was his biggest asset as a player towards the back end of his career
