Ran for 167 metres according to nrl.com. Great game from the big fella and he seems to be running more direct which should silence the crab critics.

Those metres are from the live call so they won't be the official but regardless I thought he had a real good game, ran more direct and tackled strongly. I think his defence has been his strongest aspect this year easily.

Apart from Taga I thought our bench was excellent

That was exactly what we bought him for. To come off the bench and provide some impact runs up the middle and he well and truly did that! He kept the roll going and was robbed of a try imo which would of been well deserved. Looks like that NSW cup game is just what he needed.

I'd like to see us use fifita the way the rabbits use Taylor as a battering ram close to the line, basically exactly what he did today that got his try disallowed,

He played big minutes today as well!

I reckon at least 50 of those were returning Dugan's drop-outs though. But he was good nonetheless. Improving each week at the moment.

He was running hard at the line and bending it most of the time. Not too much sideways but straight up which is a big improvement.
I'm surprised how well he moved for a big guy.

I'm right here. Credit where credit is due. He played well today. Think he just needs to believe he doesn't need to run crabwise to gain metres. :)
I think he realized that today. One of those early runs from the drop out in the second have was a very hard straight run

Which is what a good prop does. If he completely wipes that sideways **** from his game (bar a couple of late jinks) just before the defensive line I can see great improvement. Maybe he has seen his nickname ha

Credit to you lol. I said when he first signed he needs to run more direct but am happy for him to go crabwise in the opp 20. If he plays like that he will be such a great impact prop. Oh and **** Taga of and put Tafua in. Taga has been the worse forward all year and I though Tafua adds more when he plays

Taga's not effective because he is being used as a prop in tight. Not really his natural game. Has been a second row/centre his career

Yeah spot on, I don't think Taga is playing very well but as you said he's doign a role he's never really had to do before. I'd like to see him move wider but with Bakuya playing 80 and Graham coming on to play wide we need that bench player to play tight.

I think I'd give Tafua or someone else a game this week, rotate the bench a bit but not so muc as to cause dis ruption

I reckon all this talk of tags not being used properly is utter bull***t. The guy has a job to do and isnt doing it. He is a big guy and hits it up like hes a welter weight. Other props run wider on occasion with success why can't he. He's big and strong and should be explosive but he's not, is that flannos fault?? No,it's his. Get your hands on the f***ig ball and earn your flipping wage.
I agree on replacing him with tafua, at least he has a dig.
