I reckon Bowan should start at fullback, but other than that I reckon it's a decent team. Props and hooker letting them down a bit though.

If TLL can play like he did last year (2010) they will be fine.

And i think Anthony Mitchell is an underrated hooker, he did well in the last All stars game. I wouldnt be surprised if they use Bowen as a hooker as well at some stages in the game.

TLL/Rose/Fifita and some time at prop from Thaiday and Paterson means they will be fine. Nathan Peats is close to the most underrated player in the competition and will cover lock/hooker for them well.

Its a pretty darn good side. They just need parity in the ruck and the points will take care of themselves.

Props: Tom Learoyd-Lahrs, George Rose, Andrew Fifita <- One prop short plus that's a pretty poor rotation in general for a rep team, maybe even an NRL team.
Hookers: Travis Waddell, Anthony Mitchell <- An NRL team wouldn't be happy with that let alone a rep team playing against Cameron Smith etc.

Considering NSW went in with only Tim Mannah as a "prop" this year and Thaiday has played minutes at prop for Qld and Australia, I think they'll be fine.

Anyway, its not so much a representative match as it is an exhibition game. The "All Stars" aren't all stars and they're not even the best of the rest because of the quota for each club.

Yeah defiantly some missing pieces to the team, but with a team consisting of Bowen, Thuston and Sandow leading some of the younger boys around including Fafifta they should be somewhat competitive.

Weakness for sure but I doubt it will make much difference. They need to defend well.

Anyway, there's a notable omission (or two) from the side, but one in particular that I think Sharks fans will appreciate, all things considered...
