$10 says he told them in the sheds before the game.

warmed up pretty much on his own about 15m away from everyone on the field.

Could see the awkwardness from the stands.

funny you say that because sitting at home watching the dressing room cam, i thought exactly the same thing that he had confirmed it to his teammates prior to the game.... in the little exchange prior were they all feel the need to hug it out all i did was watch fifita and he was the one going to the players not one player walked to him and i didnt see any hand clapping or any sort of jesturing from anyone to lets get out there and rip into them it truly looked like they were on the tranqilizers....
wont openly bad mouth the guy, but more than happy the club tried real hard but in the end $$$ got him like most...

No I don't believe it's the $$$ that made the difference.

No one knows at present who's going to be the coach in 2015. How can you manage recruitment and retention in such an environment.

I'm not really disappointed at all, he has played one and a bit seasons of very impressive football, nowhere near enough to warrant this kind of a deal. When you throw the 700-800s at a player, it's a game breaker, I don' think Fifita comes anywhere close to that category. End of the day, he is a bench prop.
It's amazing to think he won't be far from earning what GI is on.

Got a mate who works for souths, Fifita will be earning MORE than Inglis.

Its funny but there a not a huge amount of dogs fans who are happy about it.

They really want a fullback and a decent halfback.

This next bit is a rumour - there is talk among the fans this was Castle's doing and Des is not happy with the coin but Castle wanted to be seen as a big hitter.

My understanding is that they will get their Fullback in the way of Peter Hiku from Manly.

Our beloved Toddy turned down more money than this. Makes me love him even more.

Anyone interested in Glenn Stuart?

And you are more than welcome to question it.

I have heard from two blokes who work there that Fifita WOULD have been on more than Inglis.

There is no way Fifita's salary should be in the same ballpark as guys like GI, Carney, Cronk etc. I would be very unhappy if I was a Dogs fan.

i have toddy love but to be fair i dont have fifita or toddy in the gi, cronk, thurston and cam smith bracket, no problems with him (todd) being in the bracket one below these guys are the creme de creme....

I wouldn't, look at their pack? It seems they have a very creative accountant there or maybe they have a half decent club behind them and they can arrange proper 3rd party deals and are not too busy sending members packs to the wrong places and injecting players with horse drugs. **** this ****!!

When you look at the amount of quality halves in the comp, Carney is worth top dollar. We did extremely well to hold onto him imo.
