100% should have started, has been in great form, should have also had more minutes against the Cowboys. You start your best players and most experienced in finals games, Fifita is all of that and is far superior to any other prop on the Cronulla roster. Fitzgibbon erred in this regard as it could have been a difference maker.

Andrew squeezed a fine extra year out of his body - it’s my opinion he should leave it at that as far as the NRL is concerned .

Super League - definitely …

Big call from Mike, but he does chat to AF a bit apparently so who knows???
Maybe?
Andrew Fifita is the last bit of Flanno sharks DNA we had left :(

Big loss and I love that all those boys stuck together and still have each other’s backs.. Hope the new coach can have a tenth of the team culture we had

Definitely, take a year in SL and grab the $$$$

Not re signing him makes no sense to me.
I just have to take Fifitas word for it to make sense. In the presser, he insinuated there was an option to stay, but he didn't want to block the path of the guys coming through.

Whether that is true or not is your opinion, but I guess I'm going to choose to go with that.

it absolutely does make sense

he is 34 next year and doesnt offer a lot apart from motivation

he had a huge run when he first came on and was on his haunches for about 5 minutes after

hazleton and jesse are the way forward along with oregon and another monster forward

I’m thinking it may have to do with his brother. Wants to play with him. I’d imagine we had a spot for him, but not his brother.
