Yeah but he was never going to get off the charge, wanting to represent Tonga isn’t a defence. It was a **** move to fight it because it was 99.5% chance to be bad for Cronulla and 0.5% to be good for him

You mean he should have put the team that pays his wage from week to week first given the mynute chance of overturning the original suspension? Yep. Totally Agree!

There was only 1 crusher tackle in Sharks v Raiders and it escaped charge. His lawyer should feel like **** for not getting it done. The MRC & judiciary are such a shambles you should roll the dice most the time.

had to do with his name being Andrew Fifita more than the actual tackle.

Was 100% a crusher tackle imo.

The fact the Canberra guy got off is what pisses me more than anything.

Could he chuck on a hyphenated 2nd surname? Might trick 'em for the finals at least.

Well I seen a bloke go on report for having too much force in a tackle so I don't ****ing know anymore.

Fifita was a crusher tackle. Not the usual style but the usual outcome, forced pressure down on head and neck.

Think the NRL need to accept it's a brute contact sport. It hurt him but was not a crusher. Crusher is making contact then dropping your weight down on the head/neck of a bloke who is contained. For reference see Bateman v Wade, classic textbook crusher even wrapped up the arm.

To me Fif threw his weight down on the guys head, causing the crusher action. Not conventional crusher but same result. Onus is on Fifita to not make dangerous contact to head regardless of accidental.
Batemans looked more intentional and I am disappointed he won’t get another chance to crusher McGuire after he gets eye gouged by him so we can watch the MRC/judiciary all be struck blind and deaf

Like the Morris crusher. Wasn't a crusher. Morris doesn't even have a neck ****.

Solid captain performance tonight. Played the 35mins first half. No crabbing lead the forwards through the middle.

He made Prior and Woods look like fairies and he didn’t even play as well as he usually can
