I do find it curious that a state game is considered of higher importance than an international.

SOO has been considered the highest level for a long time, not official from an NRL spokesman or anything but the players and fans know it. Easier to get picked for the 30 man Aussie squad or whatever (that's gunna win anyway) than your state

Even Nathan Cleary said it last night after the win, granted his mind was prob racing but yea

International has a retro romantic notion of being the highest level to represent your country sure but it's not the toughest, most emotionally invested or highest quality arena in league that's SOO although I should only speak for Aussie players not other countries players that represent PNG, England ect

Needs surgery, club is maintaining it's still bone bruising which if you really knew, it is much worse.. Will miss the start of next season after off season surgery, but the club won't say it publically.
