At least playing Sunday gives him an extra 24 hours to recover and be fit to play .

Would be funny if this was just a tactic.
looked to be moving freely when he was out on the field watching the boys warm up. Bending over picking the balls up and having a little kick around.

Fifita's return could just be the kind of confidence builder we need to get our act together against souths

He should be one of the first picked if he is available. He has the best workrate of a forward in the comp and he creates. Let him do his thing.

A lot of you blokes go crazy over the penalties and errors. Holy **** Roosters have won the minor premiership 3 years in a row and have like the most penalties and top 5 errors every year. Stats like missed tackles and tackle breaks at least have a trend in seperating the good from bad teams.

And they have a huge amount of talent right across the park and off the bench , dare I say a wee bit better talent spread than ours, curently including Jimmy Maloney.

We can't afford to give away silly penalties.

Now the dust has settled, I'm realising much of my anger isn't due to the fact we lost, but how.

I hope we don't replicate a performance like that for quite some time.

If any bloke here was offered a moon boot for a week, you'd be mad to pass it up

"hey hun, can you please get around to mowing the lawn on your day off"
"sorry luv, moon boot"

This is exactly right, the loss in of itself is not the end of the world. The team has been on fire barring the Melbourne game and when the stakes were highish, i.e. top four on the line, what was dished up was dreadful.

We've played very well against almost all the top sides this year so I don't buy that we haven't got it. This is a basically a good team. I think it was a cross between greedy play and ****ting themselves under pressure.

Classic example of Media Spin if you ask me. The story now playing out in the media is one of :

"Will Fifita play after injury scare?"..

Instead of :

"Fifita to return from suspension after altercation with referee at junior league match"

Brand protection at work.

Souths can be incredibly lazy defending through the middle/around the ruck. Whoevers at fullback needs to be suporting our forwards when they run direct and look for that late offload.

For a team that lacks points thats one way we can manufacturer an attacking raid successfully.

Good point, need a few of the outside backs running from dummy half as well

this is where flanno needs to utilise barba correctly. He could really dominate the souths team of the back of good go forward
