He is in contention for origin...
When was the last time we had a hooker in contention for origin? He is a far sight better than our current entourage of hookers.
That's true and I'm for the Ennis signing but he wouldn't be in contention if Farah was fit.

He's a very good player but he's got some growing up to do which sometimes shows with the things he does on the field.
He will be a much better player when he gets some of the **** out of his game. Probably a year or two away yet though.

Same can be said for DCE and Cronk or Friend and Cam Smith - doesn't take away from the fact they are great players they just may not be the best or incumbent

That's certainly the case but Ennis isn't in their league. He is a very good player and won't look out of place in Origin but he is a class below these guys.

Besides DCE is in contention infact he plays Origin so that can only be said for Friend.

"Did Paul Kent just say that. Wow hey Paul Kent, Who are you???"

He also went on to say "Still can't believe it. Its no fun game, its for a 4 nation SPOT!!!!"

The spelling errors are his not mine haha

I actually can't think of a Sharks hooker who played origin. Aaron Raper played a test when he was with us.

Long time ago but that rings a bell. Didn't Johnny Raper blow up about it?

edit: I just looked it up and the game he was left on the bench was the 1997 state of origin, after he'd left the Sharks

That's right.
He went to the eels due to staying with the ARL during all the Super league drama.
