What about NSW's best winger Uate?
Akuila Uate (born 6 October 1987 in Votua, Fiji) (pronounced Akwee-la U-ah-tay)

QLD started the cheating, we're just now starting to catch up. At least Uate isn't from QLD though!

I think there is a massive difference between a player becoming a australian citizen and electing to play for a state Than inglis and co

Put gordon out side jennings which would help his D and uate outside lawrence and we have a pretty lethal backline.
If Lawrence is injured like he usually is push mick gordon in and put kev gordon on the wing if he lives up to his potential.

That would be my exact plan. Not a big fan of the Gordon Gordon idea but.

If NSW could have Dugan, Uate, Lawrence, Jennings and Gordon fit at Origin time, thats a decent back line. Add Carney in the halves with no doubt Pearce.

inglis played his 1st rep footy in QLD, but played his first junior footy in NSW. Sterling didnt start playing league until he was 16.

anyway, i dont care, inglis plays for QLD, uate plays for NSW....wooppeeeeeee.........

I love that this conversation goes back and forth and round and round and round and round and round and round........

this usually doesnt start until around origin time :)

so inglis was born in nsw and played reps in qld when he was 16.............

Born, raised, educated and played first senior footy in NSW. Went to QLD because a team from Melbourne used a QLD Cup side as a feeder club.

QLD may of bent or stretched the rules to suit themselves, but they haven't broken any rules.

Inglis played some footy in QLD and in NSW.

Technically he probably should be a NSW player, but its not like he has played zero footy in QLD.

I say by a bee's dick he's a QLDer, end of story.

I say by the rules he is actually a new south welshman. But meh, can have the turncoat. The rules will change one day that will incorporate Polynesian players and have players just choosing which side they prefer to play for. It will just become more of a farce.

His first senior game was actually in newcastle. Hunter sports high.

Sat on the bench as a 15 year old for Macksville in First Grade. If the rules are as they are (i disagree with them, i lived 200m from the bloke and used to run around with him every afternoon after school IN MACKSVILLE NSW) then this here is where he could have been a New South Welshmen. If he got on the field, he plays for NSW, but because they didn't use him he has the option to play for QLD...................
