When we were within a kick we had 3 easy misses, and I mean misses, not behinds. Zero points.

We have a good team, and a very solid base. But we're getting the small things wrong. We will get better, but like last year, these stupid losses could cost on % and a finals spot.

AFL great Mark Bomber Thompson will face court charged with a string of drug offences.

The revelation comes amid claims ice pipes and ecstasy pills were allegedly discovered inside his bedroom during a police raid on the AFL legend’s home earlier this year.

Victoria Police confirmed a 54-year-old Port Melbourne man was charged with a number of offences including possessing amphetamines, ecstasy and LSD as well as drug trafficking methyl amphetamine and other drugs.

He has been bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates Court on Tuesday afternoon.

Police confirmed the charges related to a search warrant which was executed at a Port Melbourne address on January 5.
