Sam Reid killing it early on in Swans pre-season training apparently. Gee doesn't he need a big year. Will be interesting to see who the Swans use to replace Mitchell.

As much as most don't like bloke, best wishes to Hird.

Hope Flanno is in some position to be able to touch base with him.

Great start to the AFLW tonight. Sellout crowd and a good standard of footy.

Very early days but the AFL have done an unbelievably good job at marketing this. Well done.

Masterstroke is using the old suburban grounds.

Shame they ripped down the fences and most of the stands at Victoria Park in Collingwood. It even has its own train station.

Yeah I used the catch the train past there during when they were auctioning parts off.

The light up sign was the first to go

Ha ha, I'm a Pies fan and love the history of the suburb so I'm glad they didn't succeed.

Yeah like I said, I used to travel past it twice a day for two years. It seemed as it came to end as a ground so did the shops around the station.

I remember there being shops, cafes and a tote. Last time I was in town most of them were gone.

Its still used for VFL yeah?

A season with open opportunity awaits. I'd say Sydney will win, GWS slide due to no other theory than that they achieved expectations set so high last year, a disappointing season sometimes is to follow.

Yeah it's still used for VFL and juniors.

Business is still pretty dead down there, partly because of lack of parking, clearways etc on Johnston St I think. There are a few cafes now which seem to be picking up on the trade from the yuppies buying into the area.
