Looking at all the reports coming out it seems as though it's Lam VS Ricky.

Which is a total shame as I feel a combination of the two it the best option we could hope for.

I think it would be a real loss for us to loose Lam at any cost and I believe we should really do all we can to hang on to him.

I'd like to know where all the money is coming from. We'll have to pay out Raper and Lam the remaining year on their contracts and although Stuart has been paid out by the Roosters for 2007, presumably it'll take quite a bit of "top up" money to secure both him and Flanagan. As far as I know, our club isn't exactly rolling in the folding stuff.

I agree that it does seem a shame about Lam. In fact the whole bloody thing's a shame really. Raper will be gutted. He's a Cronulla boy who wanted nothing more than to deliver us that first premiership. Instead, it's all going to end in tears. Irrespective of who's fault this current situation is, I feel for the man.

i agree it's a quick fix and i agree we all have a right to be cynical. its just hard to read all the negative posts every day. whatever they do it's out of our hands so let's try to see the positive in all of this. and there are many things to be positive about if ricky gets the gig. up the sharks!

The only hitch to a deal being announced with Stuart today is the fact that Greg Pierce is in Canberra until the weekend. No doubt Bazza will hog the limelight again if something is announced.

I applaud your attitude Hammerhead and I know what you mean about the negativity which tends to be prevalent here and among Sharks fans in general, it can get pretty depressing at times. mega, i dont blame anyone for having a whinge at times like these. but we do need to snap out of it because it can be very damaging. you're right, it is prevalent among sharks fans, and that's what bothers me most. i suppose tho it's better than the fans not caring at all.

Deep breaths everybody, I sensening alot of frustration in the above threads. Lets not make 2007 over before it even begins. Yes the club has some big decisions to make, some fans will like some fans will dislike, that is the way it goes. I know that every sharks fan is hurting right now, and we all know the sinking feeling when our boys play like world beaters one week and play so poorly the next week that it rips your heart out. That gut renching pain you feel when your mates at the pub give it to you so hard that you feel like packing away your jersey. These are the scares of the die hard sharks supporter, and I wear mine proudly. At the start of the next season no matter who is coaching and who is half , 5/8, fullback or winger I know that I will be backing up to feel the pain and the passion of another sharks season all over again.
