Thought this was worthy of its own thread because I've been so blown away by the lengths of support and genuine kindness from the cronulla sharks club.
Recently a great friend of mine lost his pop who has been a supporter and member of the club for well over 30 years and possibly longer. Lyall was informed of this from a another CEO(respect has grown) and immediately organized to have the wake held at the leagues club.
Not only did they sort this out for the family, but they also organized for the trophy to be displayed next to the photo my mates pop with the section given free of charge.
I'm not sure if this will reach anyone from the club or Lyall in particular, but I just wanted to send a massive congratulations to them and thought it was worth sharing with you all to demonstrate how truly great this club is and how they've gone above and beyond for the family in this difficult time. Footy is more than a game and this proves it more than ever.
