I don't really believe that there is a top 4 set in stone, I also don't believe we'll make the top 4.

Melbourne, souths and the roosters will be there but this manly team isn't at the same level imo. Their forward pack is pretty average in comparison to previous years and other teams this year. I think we could bash them out of the game if we were to meet in the finals.

1- rabbitohs
2- storm
3- roosters
4- bulldogs
5- manly
6- sharks
7- canberra
8- titans

I would love to come up against the titans, they're basically us without carney and a slightly inferior forward pack. If that ladder was to occur we'd have a home (sfs/ANZ) semi against the raiders which isn't a good matchup.

I believe we will finish between 5 and 8 and I hope we have it locked away before round 26 away to the raiders.

I do not want to need a win in round 26 to make it.

Couldn't agree more. Needs to be locked up well before then this year.

In all honesty though, I do not feel this year will see as many teams in contention as previous years at that stage of the season. The division between class in teams has been evident all season.

With our run home and a few home games there near the end of the season, i think it is possible we could strike for the top 4.

But realistically i think we will finish either 5th or 6th.

I think if we're to really gonna make top 8, potentially top 4, barring injury we need to run out with this team.

1. Nathan Gardner
2. Michael Gordon
3. Jonathan Wright
4. Ricky Luetele
5. Beau Ryan
6. Todd Carney
7. Jeff Robson
8. Bryce Gibbs
9. John Morris
10. Andrew Fafita
11. Luke Lewis
12. Wade Graham
13. Paul Gallen

14. Anthony Tupou (prop)
15. Chris Heighington (prop)
16. Jason Bukuya (backrow/edge ball runner)
17. David Peachey (hooker)

18. Ben Ross
19. Sam Tagatess
20. Izac De Gois

You got X factor in Gardner and Peachey
Size up front with Gibbs and fafita
Strengths on both wings (switch Gardner around with either winger if need be throughout defence)
Gallen to inject when needed in attack
I think we're going to have to bodyguard Carney with maybe Gallen or Heighno similar to how broncos did it with Lockyer) his defence is just really ordinary lately. A real weakness in our side.
Gives us 3 wingers who r good at also backing up the forwards looking for the offload
