Hard not to give points to Prior & Hodko tonight, another solid consistent performance & Hodgo looked very solid but Fifita was very strong, Chad was pretty solid & Dugan was pretty safe as fb.

Ok I’ve watched the full game.

3. Fifita (Absolute handful. Good signs from the big fella)
2. Prior (very busy, including 41 tackles)
1. Townsend (Scored all our points, clearly has worked on his goalkicking in the off season, his combination with Hokko showed a little bit of promise)

I’ll give special mentions to Brailey, who had one his better games in first grade, worked hard especially in defence, will only improve. Dugan was very good at fullback again, nice and safe. Sefa was good off the bench again, really impressed with his start to the year. Leutele and Feki both caused the Eels problems down their flank. Hokko showed little signs of rust, he was solid, need to see more before I say he’s a regular first grader for us, but so far so good. Finally to Holmes for what was a much improved performance. Slowly but surely building his confidence back up.

Prior, Gallen, Graham all had much better games. Val looked a lot better. Ramien looked really good. Its a shame he is going. Looking forward to Lewis returning, our right edge misses him a lot in attack.
