3 Fifita - absolute monster. Turned the game for us. Simply put, we don't win the game without him.
2 Bird - impressed me very much defensively tonight. Would love to see his one on one tackle stats. They'd have to be near perfect.
1 Lewis - real toss up for the one point but I'll give it to Lewis primarily for the big tackles he made in the second half. Had a big impact.
Just for fun, here's my worst 321 scores:
-3 Townsend - he can sometimes play some good footy but gee he can be poo so often. Kicked poorly in the first half and took many wrong options. Really thought he'd be more composed by now, but he still makes mistakes that really cost us points. Good back up for his try but other than that he was pretty poor.
-2 Maloney - managed to get a nice solo try but before that he was his usual arm-grabbing self and giving away silly penalties. Threw some poor passes and fell off tackles in the usual manner. Hard to believe there isn't a better six for NSW, it's almost a moral he'll play Origin. Doesn't deserve to, in my opinion.
-1 Feki - a winger's sole job is to run the ball hard from kicks and catch the ball and score when opportunities come up. Feki always seems to bomb more tries than he scores, he really should have done better with that one in the first half. Was woefully out of position for Hampton's try.
Amazing when I look back to see my worst three players scored the tries. Doesn't make up for their poor games though.
