Explain Townsend without embarrassing yourself

He linked well the back line tonight. While he did run laterally he picked up runners without cramming them ( most of the time). Stretched their D, particularly in the first half. Directed play and runners all night . We scored 28 points last night, If our Defence was up to scratch we beat most teams. This is where our major issue lies at the moment, not with Chad.

I didn’t think CT was that bad last night.

He linked well but it’s his kicking game that is so far behind other 7s.

His passing was atrocious really. He throws so many hospital passes cause he’s scared to get whacked. His kicks suck.

When he runs the footy he’s actually half a chance but he doesn’t seem to wanna do it.

He’s not the worst player in the comp but he’s just about our worst player and in the most important position.

Was great in D again as well. At least he’s not Maloney bad I guess lol
