3. Sorenson
2. Boogs
1. Uele

Could have maybe slotted Chad in there especially considering he didn't have a 5/8 to work with but the above 3 players were a select few from our team that were just strong/solid all round even if Boogs & Uele didn't have much game time from the bench it just shows how far and away better they were then the rest of our plebs

HM to Fifita, it was another big brave effort from him racking up the minutes and tackles but the big workload along with his ongoing injury has lessened his impact in attack

I missed this week's game - and after seeing the score and injury toll I don't think I'm going to watch a replay.

I notice alot of points went to B Brailey. Did he get more minutes this week with Johnson going off ? What position did he play ?

He played hooker for about 60 minutes, his brother played the first 20ish until SJ got injured then shifted into the halves.
Both actually put good long kicks in (one each) although Jayden rushed another (due to heavy pressure) and it was pretty poor.

Blayke ran a few times, was solid in defence, good service and as I said put the big kick in.
Unfortunately he did take a quick tap at one stage, and make good meters, just to easily lose the ball in contact.

In general you didn't really notice Jayden although with plenty of players noticed for the wrong reason and him being out of position that's not so bad.

Blayke is miles ahead of where Jayden was at the same stage of his first season.

Thanks Bort.

I'm not surprised to hear that (he's miles ahead of where Jayden is) - he's always seemed the more attacking brother and willing to have a go.

He just needs to get more minutes and game time, and pack on a few more kilos. The latter will naturally happen.

I wouldn't say he's miles ahead of where Jayden is
I've been fairly happy with Jayden this season he's picked his game up a lot.

It's pretty close though, I expect a few on here would have Blayke ahead of Jayden already. Certainly Blayke is ahead of season 1 or 2 Jayden.
I'm pretty comfortable with about a 50/30 Jayden/Blayke split at the moment and comfortable that Blayke can do more if needed. Could be 30/50 by the end of the season if Jayden lets his guard down.

Blayke is miles ahead of where Jayden was season 1, although playing under less pressure not being starting hooker of the reigning premiers.

If Blayke can keep improving (and there is no reason he can't) Jayden will have to improve a lot more himself to keep up.

It'd be good to see them both add these long kicks to their regular games.

RESULTS FOR THIS ROUND:

B.Brailey: 33 (3 points)
Fifita: 25 (2 points)
Townsend: 15 (1 point)
Sorenson: 10
Uele: 5
Prior: 3
Williams: 3
Bukuya: 2

Understandably low turnout for voting this week. A big thanks to everyone who came up with three, I know it wasn’t easy this week. Anyway, big congrats to Blayke for getting his first points. Fifita and Townsend round out the podium.
