SF's ratings for Cronulla vs Manly (NRL Premiership, Round 3, 2012)

3 Points - Jayson Bukuya: Scored the crucial first try through 4 or 5 defenders. Awesome running all night, and pretty good defence on T-Rex (9/10)
2 Points - Paul Gallen: One or two small errors, but back to his best with line-bending hitups and defence. (9/10)
1 Point - Jeff Robson: Great kicking game and organisation, made the difference from previous weeks. Well done. (8/10)

- Nathan Gardner: Generally excellent under the high ball, despite horrible conditions for a fullback. Support play and kick returns were great too. (8/10)
- Stewart Mills: Best game he's had so far. Two late tries were scored down his wing, but his kick returns were good, often beating a couple of tackles. (8/10)
- Ben Pomeroy: Highlight was earning a repeat set with a great kick chase and tackle. Good offloads all game too. (8/10)
- Colin Best: Excellent defence (8/10)
- John Williams: Outplayed his star brother (8/10)
- Todd Carney: Good ball control and kicking, considering how slippery it was. (8/10)
- Ben Ross (8/10)
- Isaac De Gois: Always looks dangerous. Nice flick pass for our second try. (8/10)
- Jeremy Smith (8/10)
- Wade Graham: Did definitely look better at 13. (8/10)
- Andrew Fifita: Not his best game, was one of only two players to get back to stop the quick 20m tap by a flying Brett Stewart. That's attitude! (8/10)
- John Morris: Really strong game from the bench. (8/10)
- Anthony Tupou: Great defence and drew in a lot of defenders in attack. (8/10)
- Sam Tagataese (8/10)

Great White Shark's ratings for Cronulla vs Manly (NRL Premiership, Round 3, 2012)

3 Points - Paul Gallen: 36 tackles, 30 hitups. 260 metres. Enough said.....(just hold onto that ball, some of the hair went gray at the 79th minute:))
2 Points - Jayson Bukuya: Strong runner. Has really come along over the past few years. That first try was sensational!!
1 Point - Jeff Robson: Gave him a point. Not a flashy player but we looked organised and it gave carney plenty of time and space. Our shape in attack looks a lot more balanced

- Nathan Gardner: Showed a lot of maturity. Could have scored a double. I think he is a real star in the making. Needs to work on defence
- Stewart Mills: Good in attack. Had some good runs. Awful defence and positional play. All THREE tries he cuold have stopped. Needs to read play better, position himself better, trust his centre. Needs a LOT of work. But a young guy....
- Ben Pomeroy: Best game in years. Didnt drop the ball. 5 OFFLOADS!!!
- Colin Best: Solid. Had some good runs when the forwards needed him to take a load. Is showing real leadership on the field
- John Williams: Played well. Good running. No idea why he is not kicking for goal?!?!
- Todd Carney: Good game. Needs to improve his kicking game close to the line. When he gets outside his man he is unstoppable
- Ben Ross: Great game Benny. took the ball up strongly. Without Gibbs showed a lot of leadership
- Isaac De Gois: Solid. a Bit quiter than normal. Can not figure out why Flanagan keeps on taking him off?!?
- Jeremy Smith: Solid in defence. Some great hits. Would like to see him a little more involved in attack
- Wade Graham: Best game for years. He is more suited as a ball playing backrower then in the halves. Real talent in the making
- Andrew Fifita: Solid off the bench. Needs to touch up parts of his game. But young enough to do it.
- John Morris: ok off the bench. Made a good break but I would prefer to see isaac o for 80 minutes.
- Anthony Tupou: did well in defence. But to be honest, he is well past his best days. No real impact in attack (and stats show we ein 90% of our games when he runs 75 metres+) .....but he doesnt do it anymore.
- Sam Tagataese: Good off the bench. I think (despite last week's effort), he will challenge Toups and Morris on the bench
