3-2-1 Points

I was taking a look at the Raiders forum the other week and I think their 3-2-1 system is quite impressive in the way the can allocate their 3-2-1 points however they wish. They have 6 points to give out for each game and they can distribute them however they wish but no player can get more then 3 points from a member.

For example I could give:
3-2-1
2-2-2
2-1-1-1-1
1-1-1-1-1-1
3-1-1-1
3-3

Just wondering what thoughts are on this system?

Interesting concept and one that we may consider for next year but not something that we are going to introduce this year.

I must admit the 3-2-1 system that we have is reflective of the system that most sports teams that I have ever played in use for "Player's Player" awards.

I quite like the idea though it feels a little like those things people say about schools now, where everyone's a winner... sort of good having to make the tough choice on who to leave out. Open to the idea though.

Last year I still would have probably given top points to either Gallen, Snowden or Douglas for just about every game.

On the performances this year, I would be much more likely to spread the points evenly.
