good thread though, and a great discussion surrounding the 3 boys

- Matt Prior: we don't win that game against canberra if he doesn't come up with the best individual performance of the series. he also backed it up with 2 more performances that should have seen him picked for australia

- James Maloney: thought he was average against the raiders, his first half in the grand final was special but he fell away in the end, but his game against the cowboys was special. not only was he individually brilliant, but he set his team up as well.

- Andrew Fifita: solid in the first 2 games, and came up with an incredible grand final. has been the best prop in the comp for 6 weeks, and the most dominant forward in that time

It is Fifita, Maloney, Prior. Only debate is the order.

Anyone disagree?

Who is fourth?

Yeah ennis 4th, but jeez we had some guys play 3 of their better games in a row since origin 3 right at the end as well, birdy val heino lewy, when we hit that flat spot end of season I never lost faith but I was nervous once we beat raiders without gal n wade I knew we had our mojo back.
Remarkable effort considering we had 5 origin reps as well.

Val would have gone close for me, ran like a maniac out of our end. So damn good to watch and flattening JT was just the icing on the cake.

Fifita's performance against Canberra and Cowboys were both very very good but outshone by Prior and Maloney, but altogether he just had a ridiculously good campaign.

I will agree with Prior Fifita and Maloney...Hard to put them in order though.

There are only a couple of players that wouldn't have been fighting for a point though. Most were great and played a big part throughout the game

1. Prior - outstanding against Canberra. The other 2 were better after that

Tackles don't often get remembered, so I'll give 4th to Leutele for making a tackle we'll remember for years and years.
